Senior AI Engineer – Voice & LLMs

Help us free medical practices from bureaucratic burden. We are looking for an experienced engineer who can translate complex AI architectures into seamless, secure on-premise solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Design and advance our local voice AI models to process calls in real time with high accuracy.
  • Build and optimise robust RAG pipelines (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) for medical domain knowledge.
  • Ensure models can accurately structure medical terminology, patient histories, and findings (SOAP schema).
  • Fine-tune open-source LLMs (e.g. Llama, Mistral) for local on-premise deployment in medical practices.
  • Collaborate with the full-stack team to integrate AI models seamlessly with practice management systems (PMS) via HL7/GDT.

Your profile

  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in machine learning, NLP, and large language models.
  • Deep knowledge of Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
  • Experience with audio processing and speech-to-text/TTS technologies (e.g. Whisper, Vapi) is a strong plus.
  • Clean, maintainable code and experience with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • High standards for data security and an understanding of privacy-by-design in healthcare.
